BlazeDS - LiveCycle subset released to Open source community

BlazeDS provides a 100% free and OSS solution for optimized data exchange using Java. This release not only includes support for remoting using AMF but also supports long poll messaging over http on port 80 (Comet like implementation).
Blaze DS also contains a full AMF3 reference implementation for remoting and messaging in Java easily portable to any server-side platform. It presents a subset of commercial version of LiveCycle Data Services.
Blaze DS is still beta but final release is soon to come and Adobe wants to provide enterprise messaging solution for open source community and with this step it is certain that they will get a lot developers that will orient themselves to Flex.

With release of this product Adobe also released a full AMF3 specification.
